Reverend Jerry Egbert serves as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and as pastor of First Presbyterian Church in DeRidder, Louisiana. He is active in the work of the Presbytery, Synod, and General Assembly, and also serves on several local community boards, including the Agape Clinic, God’s Food Box, and the Ministerial Alliance. Jerry holds a degree in technology from Central Texas College, a business/management degree from Franklin University, and seminary from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. Jerry is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served in variety of leadership positions. He has also served in a variety of training and education positions. He led and worshipped in United States, Haiti, South Korea, Iraq, Kuwait, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico.
